These terms explain how we work together — how estimates, scheduling, and payment are handled, what you can expect from our crew, and the rules for our text messaging program, including how to opt out at any time.
Effective & last updated: August 19, 2026These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use the website of Olympic Tree Service LLC ("Olympic Tree Service," "we," "us," or "our"), request an estimate, book tree care work, or communicate with us by phone, email, or text message. By doing any of those things, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your information.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services. If a signed written estimate, work order, or contract for a specific job says something different from these Terms, that document controls for that job.
Olympic Tree Service LLC is a licensed and insured tree care company based in Olympia, Washington. We provide tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding, tree health care, commercial and HOA tree care, and 24/7 emergency storm response to residential and commercial customers in Thurston, Mason, and Lewis Counties and the surrounding South Puget Sound area.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to book work with us.
Estimates are free and carry no obligation. Unless we state otherwise in writing:
Emergency and after-hours work may be priced differently from scheduled work due to crew call-out, urgency, and conditions.
We schedule work in arrival windows rather than exact times, because tree work durations vary and emergencies happen. We will contact you if our timing changes.
Tree work is weather-dependent. High wind, ice, lightning, or unsafe ground conditions can force us to postpone a job for the safety of our crew and your property. If that happens we will reschedule you as promptly as possible at no penalty. We are not responsible for losses caused by delays outside our reasonable control, including weather, road closures, power company scheduling, permitting timelines, or equipment failure.
To let us work safely and efficiently, you agree to:
Some marking of the ground and minor lawn impressions from equipment are a normal part of removals and stump grinding, particularly in wet Puget Sound conditions. We take care to minimize it and we clean up thoroughly, but we cannot guarantee a lawn will be untouched.
Unless your written estimate or invoice states otherwise, payment is due upon completion of the work. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and Apple Pay, and financing is available on qualifying jobs.
Plans change — just let us know. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booked job so we can offer the slot to another customer. If a crew has already been dispatched, or if specialized equipment such as a crane has been reserved for your job, we may charge for the costs actually incurred. Any such charge will be explained to you. Deposits on custom or specialized work may be non-refundable where stated in your estimate.
These terms govern the Olympic Tree Service LLC text messaging program. By providing your mobile number to us or by texting us, you agree to these SMS terms.
Olympic Tree Service LLC — customer service and appointment messaging.
Our text messaging program is a two-way conversational and notification service for customers and prospective customers of our tree care business. Messages we send include: replies to your questions and general customer support; estimate and quote follow-ups; appointment confirmations, reminders, and crew arrival or delay updates; invoice, receipt, and payment notifications; and — only if you have opted in to them — occasional service or seasonal promotions.
You can join by giving us your mobile number when you request an estimate or book work, by checking the messaging consent box on our online request form, or by simply texting us at (360) 438-0320. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us. You may always call or email us instead.
Message frequency varies based on your activity with us. Most customers receive fewer than 10 messages per month — typically just a handful per job. Conversational replies are sent as needed while we are working with you.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard text and data charges apply to messages you send and receive as part of this program. Check with your carrier for details of your plan.
Our messaging program is supported by major U.S. mobile carriers, but we cannot guarantee delivery to every device or network. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Because text delivery cannot be guaranteed, please do not rely on text messaging for urgent or emergency matters — call us at (360) 438-0320 instead, day or night.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text STOP to our number. After you send STOP, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text HELP to our number. After you send the SMS message HELP to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe.
If you are experiencing any issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or get help directly at:
Your privacy matters to us. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
When you become a customer we may email or call you about your estimate, appointment, invoice, or job. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us; we will still send transactional messages about work you have booked. Calls to or from our office may not be recorded unless we tell you at the time.
We stand behind our work. Our crews are trained, licensed, and insured, and we follow accepted industry practice for the removals and pruning we perform. If you believe something was not done as agreed, contact us promptly and we will look at it with you.
At the same time, trees are living organisms in an uncontrolled environment, and there are limits to what any tree service can promise:
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Washington Consumer Protection Act or other laws that cannot be waived.
We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage, and we are responsible for damage our crew causes through our negligence. Proof of insurance is available on request.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Olympic Tree Service LLC is not liable for: indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; lost profits or lost use; damage to unmarked or concealed underground or in-ground features you did not identify to us; pre-existing property conditions; or damage arising from your failure to obtain a required permit or approval. Except where the law provides otherwise, our total liability for any claim relating to a job will not exceed the amount you paid us for that job.
Any claim about the work should be reported to us in writing within a reasonable time after you discover it, so that we can inspect the condition while the cause can still be determined.
The content on this website — text, photos, videos, our logo, and design — belongs to Olympic Tree Service LLC or is used with permission, and may not be copied or reused commercially without our written consent. Photos and videos on this site are of our own completed work; individual results vary by property and tree condition.
You agree not to use the website to send unlawful, abusive, or misleading content, to attempt to interrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, or to scrape it for automated commercial use. Our website may link to or embed third-party services such as Google Maps and our online request form; we are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.
Information on this site is provided for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for an on-site assessment of your specific trees.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If a dispute arises, we ask that you contact us first — nearly everything can be resolved with a phone call. If it cannot be, the dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Thurston County, Washington, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
We may update these Terms as our business, technology, or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the "Effective & last updated" date at the top of this page and post the new version here. Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The Terms in effect on the date of your signed estimate or work order govern that job.
